The Problem:

The customer needed a rugged mobile barcode scanning and data processing solution that could operate both indoors and out. The customer had desktop PC software that processed scanned data, so a PocketPC-based solution was not an option.

The solution:

Point-Of-Activity delivered the solution by custom building a mobile rugged cart. The cart was completely self-contained, including power for the computing and scanning equipment. The ruggedized hardware was designed to operate in harsh environments, indoors and out.
